UPDATE: As of March 8th, 2021 I will not be accepting anymore
dresses until the summer of 2021. Please check back in the
summer for mailing instructions.
***Please note I am NOT able to accept dresses
in person or dropped off***
I can only accept mailed dresses.
-All dresses must come from a non-smoking home.
-There is no need to have your dressed cleaned before mailing; all dresses are cleaned and pressed before they are transformed into bereavement gowns.
-Remove any items from your dress you wish to keep; feel free to cut anything off for a keepsake. Nothing from the dress can be returned to you.
-Remove dress from the hanger and/or preservation box.
-If you want to save space in your package, you can remove the underskirt and/or any tulle that is with the dress--simply cut it out with scissors. I cannot use any of the tulle/underskirt of the dress.
-Place it in the SMALLEST BOX/package possible to
save yourself shipping cost.
-It is perfectly fine if it gets wrinkled during shipment.
-If you would like to receive a tax donation receipt from the hospital,
please include your return mailing address with your donated dress.
***Please note that at this time no hospitals are accepting donations during the COVID-19 pandemic, so it could be next tax year before I can get a receipt from them.***
UPDATE: As of March 8,2021 dresses will not be accepted again until
the summer of 2021. The address to mail will be updated on this
page when dresses are accepted again.
Please note that I CANNOT accept any monetary donations. If you would like to give back, please donate directly to St. Jude Children's Hospital here:
Thank you for helping me give back!
